Farmhouse shabby potholder or hot pad - handmade from a layer of a vintage quilt and embellished with an applique cut into pig shape. The base square measures approx 8 inches square, with hanging loop. The back is the same quilt design. These are usuable and you can wash them - just know that after washed they will be frayed on the edges - which just shabbies them more. Any imperfections in the old quilt pieces add character to the potholder.

These make wonderful little gifts - for house warmings, weddings, birthdays, holidays, bunco gifts, prayer warriors, secret pals, etc.
